Due to this development’s proximity to the Irish Sea, durability and longevity of the products being installed was of the utmost importance. The NOVUS team provided design guidance and problem-solving in order to deliver sleek design, high product quality, lower profile, longevity, and reduced water ingress for this development. The NOVUS team selected our Frame IC Aluwood System as its durable composite construction ensures there’s no organic material in the wet zone and guarantees that there is no risk of frame decay or rot as is common with Aluclad Window Systems. All window finishes are marine grade to ensure longevity.

Unlike some competitors, NOVUS Windows employed its own dedicated on-site crew, allowing them to liaise seamlessly with the main contractor and managed subcontractors. The foreman crew was present for the entire installation period and worked directly with the development’s main contractor to achieve the highest quality outcomes.

Careful planning an co-ordination on this project was critical as the architectural aesthetic for step-ups and balconies required attention to detail, so whiteboard meetings were held every morning to discuss the program and deliveries for the day, and QA systems were standard practice. We achieved these design aims through our Shop Drawings, and our expert installation team then ensured that the design intent was met.
